There's new life on the farm...
*New life in the home field with asparagus pushing through the soil and reaching for the sun.
The "Taste of Spring" Omelet
1 T. Butter
1 T. Olive Oil
8 Stalks Asparagus, cut into 1/2" pieces
1/4 onion, chopped
Small hand-full of Spinach, roughly chopped
6 eggs, beaten
1/4 C. Milk
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 C. Shredded Cheese of choice
In a well-oiled skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat. Add onion, asparagus, and spinach; cook for 5 minutes, or until tender. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk and seasoning. Beat egg mixture with a fork just until bubbles begin to appear; pour over asparagus mixture. Cook until eggs set on top; lift edges with a spatula to allow uncooked eggs to run under cooked eggs. When eggs are set, top with cheese. Cut into wedges. Serves 2-4
leaves, evidence of new life hidden from our eyes.
*A mother sow nursing her energetic youngsters.
*An abundance of brown eggs from our 300 plus flock of brilliant black hens.
*Two newly married couples learning how to juggle farm and family...and new love.
*An older couple about to celebrate 34 years of marriage that are more in love today, than ever before.
*And of course, most importantly the new life we have because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins!
If all I do is give you an interesting picture of our

I am a farmer's wife...but foremost I am a sinner that has found THE "Water" that has cleansed my soul and has given me new life! I am compelled to point others to the "Well of Living Water"!
Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

The sin in my life was a big deal. It separated me from God! But He made a way to bring me to Himself...
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
A holy God couldn't let my sin go unpunished! But God loved me and provided an escape by sending His only Son to die in my place.
"God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
As a young girl I had tried to be a better person...but no amount of good works could save me from eternal punishment.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9
As a hurting and confused young lady I cried out to God..
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
In faith, call out to Him, and you too will have new life!
Abundant Blessings in Jesus Christ,
